the vagina monologues
Posted on Feb 18, 2008 under blahs, shows |Last night, together with 5 of my friends, I watched The Vagina Monologues by Eve Ensler. The play was held in SM Cinema 2, a tenth anniversary worldwide v-day benefit performance to stop violence against women and girls. Believe me, i used to cringe at the thought of writing the word ‘vagina’, let alone uttering it. I’m a changed woman after watching! LOL!
Seriously, the play was informative as well as entertaining. It’s definitely not a show for women only. It is for everybody regardless of your gender. I’m glad i was able to watch it…

I used to be reluctant in uttering our own male reproductive organ. In college I as well had watched theatrical plays regarding gender issues. Those plays were indeed an eye opener to everyone. It was absolutely informative.
