Posted on Oct 30, 2009 under blahs | No Comment

Yah! Going to meet some of my elementary classmates again tomorrow in the evening. It’s our second mini reunion this year, the first happened last June.

There’s probably just about 10 of us or less… but whatever the case, i’m excited to see them! Whew! When was our graduation then? I can’t remember already. Hmmnnn…

career change

Posted on Oct 30, 2009 under blahs, my thoughts with infos | No Comment

While i never really thought of what my job would be after graduation, i never as well thought i’d stick to the same job for over 5 years now (way over 5 years actually!). I’m thinking of changing career so i went ahead and look for some Jobs in Sales online. Found a lot of stuff then i realize it’s not my forte. I’d suck at this kind of job. So, considering the recent economic situation, i’d probably just stick for another year or two or who knows, with my current job.

Happy halloween folks!

new doc in small town

Posted on Oct 26, 2009 under jokes, straight from the inbox | No Comment

A young doctor had moved out to a small community to replace a doctor who was retiring.

The older doctor suggested that the young one accompany him on his rounds, so the community could become used to a new doctor.

At the first house a woman complains, “I’ve been a little sick to my stomach.”

The older doctor says, “Well, you’ve probably been overdoing the fresh fruit. Why not cut back on the amount you’ve been eating and see if that does the trick?”

As they left, the younger man said, “You didn’t even examine that woman. How’d you come to the diagnosis so quickly?”

“I didn’t’ have to. You noticed I dropped my stethoscope on the floor in there? When I bent over to pick it up, I noticed a
half-dozen banana peels in the trash. That was what probably was making her sick.”

“Huh,” the younger doctor said. “Pretty clever, I think I’ll try that at the next house.”

Arriving at the next house, they spent several minutes talking with a younger woman.. She complained that she just didn’t
have the energy she once did and said, “I’m feeling terribly run down lately.”

“You’ve probably been doing too much work for the church,” the younger doctor told her. “Perhaps you should cut back a bit and see if that helps.”

As they left, the elder doctor said, “I know that woman well, your diagnosis is almost certainly correct, but how did you arrive at it?” “Well, just like you did at the last house, I
dropped my stethoscope and when I bent down to retrieve it, I noticed the preacher under the bed.”

a cup of coffee please

Posted on Oct 26, 2009 under blahs, misc photos | No Comment

Hmmnn i feel like sipping just by looking at the picture. Unfortunately though, i’m supposedly not allowed to drink coffee anymore unless it’s decaf. But as always, what’s not good is what’s delectable. And surprise, i’m just human prone to temptations.

Looking at the picture, i also remember my favorite telenovela Coffee Prince. Well, if you’re not a fan of telenovelas and wasn’t able to watch this particular show, then you can’t relate to me. The female protagonist in the story works in a coffee shop. She knows coffee in all form and she decorates them attractively.

I also miss those times when i’m with friends just enjoying a cup of coffee and talking about anything endlessly. Ok, really i’m getting old! Arrggh!

life’s uncertainty

Posted on Oct 25, 2009 under blahs, my thoughts with infos | No Comment

Being home most of the time lately, i get to watch late news on TV often. Whatever the channel i’m switching to, it never misses to give updates on the latest tragedy that occurred in the country. The lives lost, the still on going road constructions, the landslides, etc. Also, since we are nearing November, special reports on All Souls Day are being featured. With all that i’m seeing, are life insurance rates today beneficial if you avail of one? Not all can afford but for those who can, maybe insurance can be of great help when the time comes. But my teacher before said that it’s better to just save your money than invest on insurance. Now that needs a lot of thinking and evaluation.

all i want for christmas

Posted on Oct 25, 2009 under blahs, my thoughts with infos | No Comment

Yah i’m talking about Christmas and you can’t blame me for that. From where i come from, Christmas starts as early as September. All i want for Christmas is my two front teeth. Familiar? It’s that cute song from The Chipmunks. Somehow, i can relate to the song. Not that i lose my two front teeth but the gap is quite not negligible and it’s getting wider. I think a good dental implants Plano can do wonders. Opps there’s a question below about when do i get jealous? I get jealous at people with nice set of teeth. Now i realized i should have worn my retainers seriously before. Gorgeous teeth radiates beautiful smile, and who isn’t pretty with a beautiful smile?
