What greater way to celebrate the first day of March than a day at the beach? Cool huh! We spent the first day of the month which falls on a weekend at the beach in Portofino. Portofino is just one of the many beaches here in Lapulapu City. Apparently, it’s Mellany’s last outing with us You sure will find new buddies girl, but perhaps not as beautiful as we are! Ha ha!

Here are some photos from Tops. As i’ve written, we went there last Friday. My first time there and so far it was cool… pero kulbaan ko sa dalan pasaka! yay!

My first time to Bohol was last 2004. I went to Bohol again last weekend with coworkers and expats. It was a fun day for the sun wasn’t that glazing. We toured around Bohol and it was a nice experience once again.

Weekend in Bantayan was really fun. I’m not sure with the expats when they have to ride in the ‘Silverado’ jeepney for over 2 hours back and forth from Cebu to Hagnaya Port in Bogo. I will post more pictures later when I have the time. For the meantime, i’ll share with you this one fun photo. Haha!

Last weekend was a blast. Me and my friends went to Kota Beach in Bantayan Island. It’s a 2-3 hour-bus ride from North bus terminal to Hagnaya plus another hour of ferry ride. The trip was very okay since it was very sunny. No motion sickness for me to worry Unfortunately though, I suffered hyperacidity after our dinner. I freaked out, i almost cried for my tummy hurts badly. I failed to bring along some medicine and no pharmacy was open in the vicinity. Thanks to the “white flower” liniment (that i only brought) and for Macelle and Mellany’s massages, it saved me through the night. For the most part of the trip, it was a very enjoyable one. I can’t wait to go back! Special thanks to Alfer for showcasing his photography prowess! Naks!

Finally, i’m done uploading the photos from our Department Summer Outing last May 19, 2007 at Maribago Bluewaters Resort.

It was fun though i did not join in the games since i’m one of the program committee members. It was nice to interact with the newbies of the group and some oldies whom we haven’t got the chance to talk to with during regular working days.

Last April 27-30 was a long weekend for me. No work on Friday because of the Kadaugan sa Mactan holiday & Monday being swapped to May 1 Labor Day. While everyone else was out of town, I cannot contain myself just staying at home. I should have been going to Camotes but plans changed. So Glorie and her cousin and I went off South of Cebu - Kawasan Falls in Badian Cebu and Aqua Cainta in Talisay…

Aside from the (26?) crocodiles which obviously the park is named after, the place has a lot of different kinds of birds and reptiles and other animals and some fishes too. There were pythons that i don’t feel like posting their pics because i cringe everytime i look at them ewwwww….creepy!!! but i love you all so here’s one pic!
